From what I have read its basically a Nautilus clone with higher strap height and weight limit. The Nautilus is pretty well liked, but can cause head flop in some kids if that's a concern. Graco isn't known for being the cushiest of seats so you may want to have your DD sit in it in the store to see if it bothers her (it doesn't to most kids).

Thanks. I don't think the lack of cushion will bother her. She LOVES her MR. I've bought her about every seat, but it's the one we kept. I've owned a nautulis before, and we did have head slump, but it's going in a full size van with out headrest. I'm thinking they may help?

Does the Argo Elite have a better crotch strap? I know the nautilus was bad for that. Loved the chubby areas on it though.

I could get her a FR 90..but I hate the adjuster, it's so hard to reach. Plus she's tiny and really don't need it.

On rare occasions I might be installing this seat in other vehicles, so was thinking the lock offs may come in handy on the Elite..

Yep, it has a third farther out crotch strap. It can be almost impossible to adjust the strap, though, bank on maybe needing pliers to get it through the hole (I have several nautis and argoses at work, they range from easy to impossible, sometimes get returned for being impossible, but I'd think pliers would do it, I just never have them at work with me...)
The lockoff is terrific, love it.
I can't tell if the top harness is any higher, they all look identical to me, like the nautis and argoses roll off the same assembly line out of the same plastic mold...plenty tall anyway :)
