anyone received a Radian XTSL from babycatalog? :(

when i preordered, i thought i woudl get the Radian XTSL mid October. I know this isnt much later, but i still havent received it. I got rid of a BV. to make room for the XT and im just wondering if anyone else has received them.

im almost tempted to cancel my order and order somewhere else.

I was wondering this as well today. I still haven't received mine either What fabric did you order? I ordered the Ventura, but I know at least one of the fabrics was going to be even later (Bentley I think?). I'm crossing my fingers for this week! My DD is excited because she gets to RF again like her sister

Oh and I placed my order on 9/28 if that matters.

I ordered the Bentley from Babycatalog and last I heard they were delayed from the manufacturer until mid-late November. I am in BIG TIME need of mine so hopefully they will ship soon!!

I had a Bentley on order from them and got tired of waiting. Got a Nitro one from diapers.com that I love and got the next day. They have 15% off all car seats right now.

We are waiting on our flora from babycatalog.. When I ordered, it was ETA mid to late oct- I assumed that timeframe was when THEY recieve from sunshine, then I would get it shortly after. So I am hoping for a "late oct- early nov" ship to me date! I haven't received any email or notification saying they'd be delayed further, so I'm just crossing my fingers. Ours isn't a NEED carseat situation, thankfully! So, we will just wait patiently, Well, kind of patiently maybe I'll put a call in, just to find out if there is any new news.....

I also ordered the Flora and haven't received it. I have called twice with being told each time it would "ship next week". That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. Forget trying to email them they don't respond to any emails. I've sent several for shipping info and general contact form for info. I'm starting to get very pissed off as I need this seat and had to go buy a cheap one at Target until I get this one. I sure hope I can return that one to Target too because we are broke and can't afford it. The Radian was paid for by my parents for a gift!

i *just* hung up with babycatalog, this is what she said:

They have inquired from Sunshine Kids, and an order will be shipped to BabyCatalog by the end of the week, and I will receive it in 4 days of them shipping to me (I am in Cali.) So, i should have it by the end of Next Week (around the 6th? that would be friday...) we shall see.........

She said you can request order tracking, but go figure that link is not working.. hmm..

it may be taking a while, but i am stil so very excited to get it !

we have to remember though~ we did know that they weren't in stock at babycatalog yet when we ordered them! just pre-orders... ~~ i just have to think of that when i am sitting at the window hoping for a HUGE box to be dropped at my doorstep

i didnt realize this was a sponsor. and i wasnt trying to simply put negative things out there about it...just wondering if others had any issues.

eta: i do realize that i preordered, but i keep seeing others getting their XTSL's and they preordered too (maybe some didnt). I just wanted to know if this was an issue anyone else is dealing with.

i wont say anything else. i hadnt heard of this company prior to finding the deal on this forum, so took the chance and ordered from them. i will refrain from speaking about my future decisions.

This morning when i called babycatalog, the customer service lady looked up my order and said it would be shipped to me next week.. then i received an email today that said :

" We have just learned that our recent stock from them (SK) was incomplete and not all our orders were able to be filled from the initial shipments. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Once we receive the merchandise in our Connecticut warehouse, all orders will be filled and shipped. Transit time for East Coast customers is approximately 1-2 business days, and for West Coast customers it is approximately 4-5 business days. If you prefer to wait for the color you have on order currently, it is expected to arrive to us Late November."

So, does this mean that i ordered it early enough to receive a seat that they are getting this week from SK? or will i have to wait until next month??

Maybe I'll put a call in again tomorrow to clarify... And i just looked the website changed to say: ETA mid-late DECEMBER 2009..

well, maybe it will be a christmas present in that case.

Here is the latest information we have from Sunshine Kids in regards to the Radian XTSL Seats. To date we've only received the XTSL in the Nitro and Eclipse Patterns. We ordered all prints at the ABC show, so I'm guessing the other colors were either not released yet or only in a small quantity.

In anycase, here are the dates we've received directly from Sunshine Kids. These are the date when the container will be available. You'll need to add a few days based on how long it would take for the seats to get to the retailer from where you've purchased.

Radian XTSL Ventura - 11/18
Radian XTSL Nitro - 12/09
Radian XTSL Eclipse - 11/18
Radian XTSL Flora - 11/18
Radian XTSL Petal - 11/18
Radian XTSL Bentley - 12/09

These dates are for all retailers ... Sunshine Kids has already received a number of containers and has started filling orders that were placed by retailers. The nitro and eclipse seats we received were out of that first shipment. If a retailer doesn't have seats in stock at this time in a particular print, my guess is the next shipment they'll receive will be based on the dates I've provided.

i dont want to post anything negative but i was pushing it waiting until Mid October. omg if i have to use my 1 yo's seat for another month i am going to ....well i dont know.


yeh, i preordered but i didnt preorder w/a nov. or dec. delivery date. i would have NEVER sold my BV if i had known it was going to take this long.

is there any way to get a refund? i think some places around here have them in stock and i can buy it tomorrow.

It's possible. I noted the inconsistency of my order coming in late Nov as they told me in my first email (it was noted as Oct. when I bought it), and that mid dec. date given in that same list, and they said that mine was an earlier pre-order and was slated to come earlier. I'm not sure how though , if they're not available. I thought the whole thing was confusing. When I read the part about wanting to "wait for the color you have on order" I asked what WAS available, and then just got that list. It was a frustrating exchange just trying to get answers.

I don't *think* they are the same place, I think maybe Kids and Cribs was just replying to be helpful with the dates that the containers were arriving from SK for ALL retailers in general. Hopefully K & C will clarify, because I'm really just guessing here.
