Anyone ever had Recaro replace a cover?

My ProRide cover is such a mess...there are big spots of missing black velvety parts of the cover all over it. If Brecken eats a cracker and drops it...it tears off a big piece of the cover. I swear if I look at it wrong it flakes off. It is rediculous how easily this cover loses its top layer. I also have a ProSport and a ProBooster (in the same cover choice) and they are fine.

I have had tons of Britax velvety covers and while they would do the same thing if say you had a sucker stuck to the fabric, but it was nothing like the Recaro cover.

Is it worth calling in about to get a replacement? I just do not have the time to sit and call them anytime soon if it is going to a be a pointless call.

I usually have better luck e-mailing and including pictures.

They replaced my signo pretty easily.

Honestly, I'd call them and report it, and let them know you'll be reporting it elsewhere because it's a potential choking hazard in a seat designed for use by children younger than three years old. And do just that.

I'd call them. I have a plush pb cover and never have had an issue at all.

auto correct hates me

I know they replaced a member's ProSport cover that was coming apart st the seams. I would email, too. Calling is hit or miss.

I got my vivo cover replaced when after I washed it in the machine on gentle (against manufacturer instructions) most of the fluff came off. It looked awful! I was mainly calling to see if I could buy a replacement cover but they just sent me a new one. Although it took 2 shipments- the first time they forgot 1/3 of the pieces!
