Am I being silly?

Does everyone go by the stated height limit of 36" and not the 1" rule with CCO RF? She is 37 inches but has room above her head.

We were pretty lax about this. Technically it is outgrown at 36" but my long-legged kiddo still had a couple of inches over his head at that point and wasn't always measuring consistently for standing height, so I was comfortable using it for short rides around town. We did borrow a different seat for a longer trip, though. With solid space over the head, I'd personally be fine using a very liberal height measure (no shoes, etc.). I find standing height limits a little frustrating in general given how different kids' proportions can be.

That's really interesting about the flexible shell on the NEXT!

Well, I've been using it for several days now and do really like it. It installs very well, I love the soft harness and how easy it is to buckle him in. I'm not crazy about how the buckle tongs are almost poking his chunky thighs and how he ends up with red marks on them from the harness. Also, I wonder how long this seat will last him since he's already on the 4th slots.

I also bought a Titan 65....I like the fit of the harness better on him but it was not as easy to tighten. The buckle storage is a nice addition too. I'm leaning toward this seat because I think it will have a longer life with him since he's such a large baby!

Thanks so much everyone for all the input!!

Here's a couple of pictures of him in both seats (pardon the funny face:p):

Well, after a few days of the evenflo I switched back to the Scenera. The Evenflo was definitely a great seat but as it turns out, we like the Scenera more:)!

I did manage to find some Lulaclips at Canadian Tire that work a whole lot better than those buckle holders on the Titan:thumbsup:.

Thanks everyone!

Interesting! What did you like better about the scenera?

The sides are lower and the seat also sits lower so loading him in is much, much easier! Also with the Evenflo, despite having a tight install at the belt path, if one of the kids leaned on the seat it would shift. I found this the most annoying aspect of using the Titan. I was constantly fiddling with the install:/. And the Scenera harness seems to be a better fit on him as well. And I've found it to be easier to install in friends vehicles than the Titan. Many of our friends have smaller vehicles so space is an issue:).
