I thought the Decathlon was great to travel with. It is much lighter than the GN. It helps to remove the black plastic harness protector before buckling. If you have difficulty reaching the release at the end of the flight, just recline the seat and it will loosen up.

Both should fit well. If using the decathlon on the plane forward facing, make sure to ask for a seatbelt extender (the thing that they use to demonstrate the seatbelts during their safety speech) to position the buckle outside of the deacthlon's belt path. If that is not possible to get, make sure to flip the airline seat's buckle upside down so that it opens downward instead of up so that it doesn't get pressed right up against the hard plastic shell of the carseat.

I haven't heard of issues with the nautilus on the plane so it might not have the same install issues with the buckle as the britax seats do.

The nautilus is easy to install on a plane. But, it won't fit through the security xray machines and will have to be wanded.
