'98 Chevy S-10 Blazer

My bff and her boyfriend have a '98 Chevy S-10 Blazer that he is just about to get running. Their other vehicle is a bench-seat Ford Ranger with lap-only belt in the center. Together, they have 5 children, but only three are with them all the time.

Boyfriend says the Blazer is a 4-seater. I haven't been able to really check it out because it's got some stuff stored in it and one of the seats is folded, but it doesn't look like there's a center seat. (I was hoping the lap-belt was just hiding.) I'm trying to figure out if there's an option to replace their current vehicle seat with a 3-seater.

Anyone familiar with this vehicle? I know what they really need is a minivan, and they know that, too, but it's just not an option right now. They've been basically not going anywhere or riding their bicycles, or waiting until I'm available to help out with my car.

Google images makes it look like there's a middle seating position. I see two buckle stalks side by side towards the passenger side seating position.

I know these vehicles restricted centre CR installation at one point, which I know you know about.. and the outcome was that GM reversed that restriction, yadda yadda..

I think it looks hopeful that it seats a total of five..

I went on a trip with a friend's family when I was in high school in one of these, there were three of us in the backseat and we all had seat belts :).

Unfortunately, what's coming up on google image search doesn't look like what's in this vehicle. It's a 2-door; I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I'll post pics when I can. It didn't start today so the cleaning-out has been pushed back. :(

(I want to go crawl around in that back seat SO BAD lol!)

The two door might be a four seater :( I wouldn't know but it would not surprise me.
