My skinny DD recently reached 5 feet tall, the height limit for the incognito. She still has head support and doesn't mind using the booster at all, but she's now exceeding the listed height limit and it would be nice for her to be able to ride with friends. However, I'm not sure she 5 steps and understood all things being equal, it's best to leave her in a booster longer.

The only "step" I'm unsure about is the lap belt. I didn't get the best pics. First 2 pics are without booster and 3rd pic is with the incognito. Sorry, apparently I didn't get them at matching angles/recline. I took a bunch, but I still didn't find anything that matched. She's being very difficult, but please let me know if they're not good enough and what angle/framing would be better.

WWYD? Would you take her out of the booster, keep her in the incognito over the height limit, or ...? Thank you for your help with this!!!

I can't really tell from the pics for two reasons: the outfit she's wearing being the same print top/bottom is hard to see where her lap begins :)
and I would love a straight on view as well.

Otherwise, if you think she still needs the lap belt support, I would have no qualms using the Incognito beyond the height limit; I feel like it's a mostly useless limit for a nbb. So take that for what it's worth.

I would still keep her in the incognito and not really worry about the 5foot height limit :)

And yeah that outfit makes it hard to tell

Thanks for the feedback. I'll get better pics today. When you say straight on, do you mean from the side or front or just no angle to it? So sorry about the difficult outfit. She was being really difficult.

Honestly, I thought she must 5 step by now and the booster might be a security blanket for me. She's over 5 feet tall, maybe up to 5'1" with her recent growth spurt. She will 5 step someday, right?

I'll post better pics today! Thank you!!! -- SHE DID NOT COOPERATE TODAY. :(

From the front. Her sitting with and without it will help see if it really makes a difference for her.

I had to let go of the booster for my 11 yr old. I just think we feel it will make some small difference even when they don't need it.. But we have to let go sometimes..

Now I have an 8 yr old who is totally as tall as the 11 yr olds my son hangs out with that I am arguing about why he still needs a booster when none of his friends have them. .

How tall are they? She's over 5', so I feel like she really should 5 step, right?
