I found a Pioneer at Target for $149. My 4.5-year-old (barely) is too tall for this harness. I will return it (it seemed too wide to allow for my others to buckle, too, but since it was too small that made our decision for us). Would you just put him in a Harmony Dreamtime?
I have one. It's a tight 3 in a row.
We have a Sure Ride but lately the mis-use has been high, especially with DH. It's always twisted and crooked and I am not thrilled with him riding like that. Trips out are to school or grocery store.
His spot is the middle seat, third row. He is about 51 lbs. and everything I saw at Target didn't look promising. His siblings (7 and 9) are outboard, each in a backless (to allow for more room this was all that is practical). Tall 9 YO might 5 step (I need to test him again) but I don't think it would impact anything if he did. His backless is small and narrow anyway.
