Does the dodge journey have any tethers in the 3rd row?
We just got one but I haven't had time to sit down with the manual. I know we have 3 across on the 2nd row so I'm guessing that the 3rd row won't have any.

Your guess is probably accurate because it's listed as having no third row top tether anchors in the 2011 LATCH manual for the 2009 model year. Holding out some hope that there may be a difference if yours is newer than a 2009 model if by any chance Dodge included more TAs for newer '10 or '11 models. <fingers crossed :)> The 2009 model year Journey's entry in the LATCH manual has some additional notes I'm going to retype here for you regarding the LATCH setup in the second row with the 40/60 split seat and the third row outboard head restraints:

2nd row 40/60 split seat: Lower Anchors - The designated center LATCH position is formed by using the one lower LATCH anchor provided for the center position along with the inner lower anchor of the outboard position on the 60% seat. NEVER attach two connectors to one lower anchor.

3rd Row Outboard: Head restraint must be in upright position when installing child restraint.

Thanks, we have a 2010. 3rd row a carseat might work but my parkway is to tall and the headrests are not removable so it pushes the booster. We don't HAVE to use the 3rd row but ds thinks it is cool back there and wants to sit there but I would rather him in his parkway then the clek otot. I'll see what I can come up with later today.

That is good to know about the LATCH. I wondered if they allowed borrowing because there are 5 anchors.
