Hello,

We are expecting baby #3 in December. We were planning on getting 1 new vehicle with a 3rd row (currently have a Nissan Rogue and Hyundai Azera). We were planning on having 3 across in our 2015 Nissan Rogue, but after reading Nissan's Snug Kids article, it appears that they do not recommend a CRS in the center 2-row seat at all. Do you know if this same recommendation exists for the 2008 Hyundai Azera? We just want to make sure that all 3 kiddos (3.5, 22 months, and newborn) are all as safe as possible in our vehicles. Thanks for any insight!

Hi there. You can put a carseat in the middle of your second row. Your Nissan's manual shows your top tether anchor for a forward facing seat in that position. I have no idea why their Snug Kids program says that. But it doesn't supersede the car's manual. The Snug Kids program also lists several seats that aren't even made anymore, and so it's generally out of date and not maintained well. I wouldn't put much stock in it at all.

Does that change your plans?

Wendy
