3 across in Vibe

My friend is about to have her third. The older ones are 8yo and 4yo. She has a Nautilus she plans to sue for the 4yo. She wants the 8ypo in a booster and needs a new infant seat.

I have no idea what the newer seats are anymore. Please recommend seats for her. Thank you!

Re: 3 across in Pontiac Vibe

I'm not sure she'll make it work with a Nautilus in the mix. The Vibe is not an easy car to do three across in. We struggled with finding a three across combo that worked when DH had a Vibe, luckily it wasn't for long. We really needed a Radian or other very narrow seat in the mix to make it work. For a while we had DS in a Radian (he was 4-ish), DD2 in the center a Keyfit, and DD1 (7) outboard in a booster (the Evenflo Big Kid worked well with the forward shoulder belts). Then when DD2 went into the Radian, she was RFing in the center, DS and DD both in boosters outboard.

The Bubble Bum makes a great narrow booster for the eight year old. The Maestro is a pretty narrow harnessed seat that might work for the four year old? There is not a center head restraint in the Vibe, so be sure to remind her not to put the 8 year old there in a backless.

Honestly, I think she'll have to get rid of the Nauti if she hopes to make it work. I know replacing all the seats is not fun, but it's just too wide with the built in cupholder for that narrow back seat.

Someone else will have to answer that! I'm not up on the widths, I think the Keyfit and the Safety First OnBoard are both up there. But with a Nautilus? It won't work. I think only a Coccoro or a Radian, MAYBE, MIGHT get it in, but I doubt it.

I know I have seen a coccoro and 2 radian on each side of it on here somewhere. \I found one on diaperswapper Nauti driver side , key fit middle and turbo passenger =).
