3.5 year old and airplane seat

Our 3.5 year old will be traveling somewhere between 15,000-20,000 miles in the next few months. Currently we have two older Radians but would rather not take them on a plane due to extreme weight. She is our last baby so we don't need something for a future baby to use. Suggestions for something that will absolutely fit on a plane for her size regardless of carrier (right now our first two trips are on Delta and Southwest.) I'd like something under 150$ though just in case it gets ruined somehow with all those miles, plane changes, airport craziness.

Hi!

If she is forward facing or can be for travel, the Evenflo Maestro or SecureKid, Harmony Defender or Graco Tranzitions might be good choices.

If rear-facing perhaps there's something else that would work.

If you give us her weight and height and shirt size we can probably help you narrow it down more.

In addition to the suggestions above, if she is rear-facing and under 40 lbs, a Contender might be a good option. It can FF on the plane (at least some of them) with the armrests down and the tray table mostly-down. Has a closed belt path so that the plane buckle won't bother her. Then if you want her RF for the car, it's easy to convert and install that way too.
