There will be 6 of us flying total, 3 adults, the children are 13, 5, and 3

My 5 yr old is 43 in and roughly 38lbs
My 3 yr old is 36 in and roughly 30lbs

We are flying coach from ohio to disneyworld, using the magic express and WDW transport from resort to the parks

What is the EASIEST seats and seating configurations for the plane with 3 seats on each side per row?

I am able to buy new seats just for the trip but really don't a clue. I have been reading about the maestro, radian and cares. I think that I really don't need seats while I am there (correct me if I am wrong)

The 5 yr old is used to his britax frontier 85 at home and the 3 yr old rides in a decathalon.

If you are utilizing the Disney transportation the whole time during your visit, you shouldn't need a seat while you are in Florida (they use the larger coach buses primarily). As long as you aren't planning on renting a car or getting a taxi offsite, it might be easiest not to bring along any carseats for the plane.

My kids sat well in just the airline seats when they are 4 years old. Some kids may feel better in their own carseat on the plane, but many are just fine in just the seatbelt. You could do the Cares Harness for the younger child if you felt he needed some more support.

I would do a CARES for the 3yo if you don't need seats; my almost-5 year old is avout 6 inches taller and the same weight, and she doesn't fit the lap belts at all. My 6.5 year old is just now fitting in the plane's belt.
