Hi there! I am in Indiana, and purchased a Graco Nautilus tonight after reading all of the posts on here. We LOVE it! My son even loved sitting in it, and he refused to sit in the Regent! He has two slots above his shoulders in this seat, just like the Regent. Big plus that it becomes a booster later on! My son is 2.5 years old, 36lbs and 37in tall give or take a bit. I would DEFINITELY recommend this seat, I will probably put my 5 week old in one after her SS1 and Scenera!

OOH he's the same stats almost as my 2.5 yr old!!!

Do you know what his torso height is? Sit him on the floor next to a wall and measure from butt to shoulder top.

He has a 15" torso, we've had a hard time finding a seat that would keep him harnessed longer! He didn't like the Regent, so this was a Godsend!)

As for weight when packed, it's not a light seat at all. I don't know exactly, but it felt comparable to the Regent. Maybe a little bit lighter.

This is definitely a better choice for people who want their big kids harnessed but want more value for their money than the Regent. I wanted something that converted to a booster and this was just perfect! WAY better than the Apex in quality too. ;)

LOL. I think there is another post with TONS of pictures, including a seat bottom picture. Try to look for that, I've already installed mine or I would take a picture for you. I just plain tired tonight. :)

WOW... at that torso heght, Ruthie was already into the third slots of the Regent and the 2nd to last slots on the Radian.

sounds like it's definitely the seat I want for her... and I'll put the Radian as her spare then.
