Is the RN XT being phased out for the RN XTSL?

I may have missed this somewhere down the road, but I noticed the XT is not on the SKJP website so I was wondering if they are being phased out to make room for the newer model?:eek: Sorry if it has been brought up already... just trying to decide if I need to scoop one up now or if I can wait a little longer. I can afford the price tag on the RN XTSL, but *might* could swing the RN XT on sale.:)

The entire Sunshine Kids Line is being replaced by the SL Models ... this includes the Radian80, Radian65 and RadianXT.

Thanks so much.:) Does that mean I better grab up a XT before whatever is in stock is gone? I like the XTSL, but don't need the super latch or the extra rear facing weight. Just need a narrow harnessed seat with headwings.

Just as an FYI, check out the Radian XT SL $270 thread for some awesome deals on the XT SL. Someone got it for $206, which is not much more than what you might end up paying for the XT!

Okay, does anyone else realize the ONLY reliable written evidence we have for the radians RF until 40 lbs is now gone?! No stickers, no manuals, no info on the manufacture website. Grrr.. I think our 40 RF limit may be questionable and with out anything written down I am uncomfortable using it to that limit.

I don't think I want to get two new seats :(

That just means there weren't a lot of the XT's in the retail channel, and SKJP timed their release of the XTSL with them running out of the XT's. That's smart manufacturing!

Ugh. I'm glad I didn't keep the 65 I had bought that went up to 40 pounds and instead ordered an XT SL. That stinks.

Sunshine Kids has a letter to consumers about their seats going rf to 40 pounds, it's not just a rumor we have on this board, it's that they were too cheap or whatever to print up proper labels and manuals

Amazon still had the XT's yesterday for $224. I won't have any funds for a week or 2 so just hoping someone will still have one unless I can find the XTSL at around the same price.
