Britax click and safe?

We are ready to move baby into a convertible seat.

I decided on a Britax Marathon for dad's truck, but now see the new "click and safe" option and am wondering if it is worth the extra money (about $100 difference between an on-sale Britax MA and a "click and safe" Britax MA).

Dad isn't quite the car seat safety fanatic I am and I always worry that he doesn't get the straps snug enough. Would the "click and safe" guarantee a fool-proof fit?

Not worth it. Most people say it doesn't even work. Either it clicks way before "tight enough" or it never clicks.

The Click and Safe is more likely to guarantee that your husband stops tightening before the harness is tight enough.

:yeahthat: I had a Boulevard CS and hated it because firstly it would never click and secondly when it didn't click I could still fit my whole hand under the harness. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I wouldn't recommend it. I looked at the gadget part of it at the harness at BRU (I have a pic somewhere). It just looks like something else to break.

The CS is totally not worth it unless you love one of the covers. I got one in Crimson (red/black) to match the frontier in dh's truck. It doesn't click. It never has. I only paid $220 for it though when babycatalog was having an awsome britax sale.

We have the BLVD CS. It's terrible. It clicks ways before it's tight enough. I honestly think it makes for a GREATER chance of error, not less.
