Sammy's new ride

So we got Sam a Signo G2. He seems to quite like it. I really like it, as does AJ. It went in easy and is more solid than his BV ever was. Yeah, I got the BV solid, esp with the tether, but this thing it SOLID. I'm not in any way worried about no RF tether (I think it would bother me), because this seat really has its own built in anti-rebound based purely on the height of it. There is no way this is popping into the seat, it's got ARB built in as surely as the new TF.

It's installed very upright, I might try to recline it more but probably not. But NO head slump. We went to Disney this weekend and he napped there and back plus almost 2 hours of driving around to take care of a reservation issue, and never any slump. Actually, his head stayed completely upright most of the time, didn't even lean over to rest on the wings.

I like it MUCH better than the BV. Now I might try to sell the BV, or I might keep it as a spare. Heck, I might buy another Signo as the spare because Charlie had plenty of room in it and it seems like an overall better seat.

No pics yet, I'll get to it eventually. But so far, Sammy love his new wheels!

Awesome! How is the leg room? Does it have more than the original Signo? Oh, I'd love to see pics! And, some with BV comparisons if you can. :D

Glad to hear that you like it! :)

I know exactly what you mean about built-in anti-rebound... my Signo is very solid at both ends. Love it!

The Signo was always my favorite convertible. I loved it for rear facing (up to a certain age) and LOVED it forward facing. I am excited to see what Recaro comes up with this next year. Glad Sammy likes his ride!

I was fairly impressed with ours. After using an original Signo for 18 mos, the new Signo had some nice features, and I do love how rock solid and simple they are to install.
