Today's car seat clinic

I had a car seat clinic at Baby Depot today. Started out a little slow...

(Whataboutpuppy (Jessica) and Judi's DH (Gabe).

But then got busy. Techs and Charlene and Whataboutpuppy (Jessica).

I was senior checking. Jessica got a mom to rear face a one year old, DH (well I) got parents to RF a little over one year old.

The kicker was the last car. Two baby's mommas. One baby, in a garage sale seat, with missing parts. The other, in a seat a nice friend lent them, that had been crashed. The techs were a little confused why one of the moms kept spraying stuff and cleaning the seats. There was no carpet, or third row seat in the back.

Well, the reason was, there was a person that had been shot it the face. They body was dumped using the SUV WE were in!:eek::eek:

In a way.. I'm kinda glad my battery died and I missed it. lol.

Plus.. I don't think I'd want my pic on here... lol. I only do head shots!

But really.. I love going to clinics. So I'm kinda sad I missed all the fun.. :(

The way she said it... Oh you don't want to know, you don't want to know. you totally don't want to know.
Your DH: what? was it from hunting?
you don't want to know. you so don't want to know.

...

this car was used in a homicide.

but don't worry, she wasn't the one who used the car to transport the body... it was baby-daddy. but he's "sorta a retard" he's in prison now.

sooo let me get this straight, he's only sorta a retard. and let's see... you're driving his vehicle while he's in prison... sooo, when he gets out... who's the retard?
Holy crud!

Anyway, she added "creepy huh??"
Judi's DH: No, not really.
I raised my hand... Actually, I'm a little creeped out. Just gonna throw that out there.

:shudders:

Two questions:

1.The picture of when it was "busy" shows working on a seat upside down? What seat is that?

2. How recently was the homicide? Was she seeing things on the seats that werent actually there, or was it stains she was trying to get off?

Sorry that's 3.

Yay for ERF.

That was a combo seat. I can try to check my clip board before I leave for the actual model #. The baby came in that seat. SN 5 yr old was in a backless booster. She will be talking to her specialist about getting a HWH seat, and calling me for help. :)

No, she was cleaning, because she said she couldn't get rid of the smell of death. Um, ok, let us think this through. Man gets SHOT in the face and put into YOUR SUV. Um, that is a lot of blood. Blood is liquid and can get places your spray bottle can NOT!

Maybe I'm just the oddball but uh, if there was once a dead man in the back of my vehicle and my car SMELLED of death... uh, I would be investing in a new car .

Maybe that's just me? :shrug-shoulders:
