"Old" MA vs New

A friend at work insists that the new MA has another, higher slot than her old MA, now totaling 5 slots. I haven't seen this mentioned here, is that true? I could easily have missed it. I've been kind of sporadic with the board this summer and it continues!

I had encouraged her to get a GN for her son, who was getting close to outgrowing the MA. She did and said it was too loose in their car, too big and she hated it. So he's back in the MA. She's pregnant and talking about getting him a new MA to use until the baby can use it. I told her to be sure to try him in it when installed in their car to see if he really has any growing room. She's also kinda pissed it doesn't really go to 65 lbs!

Just four. Almost identical to the Marathon. Good question, though, since the two seats are so similar if it did have 5, someone could easily mistake it for an MA.

Thanks. Was the concensus that the top slots are unchanged or are the newer slots taller. Also, is there any difference in the slots ma vs ra 50?
