Swedish seats pretty much all have the width of 45 cm, 17.7 inches. Three across is possible in a quite a few regular cars.

we've got a vauxhall vectra, atm ds is in multitech (2 1/2 years old) and dps daughter is in a evolva booster (she's 5 in november but would still fit in the multitech or two way elite for a couple of years )
baby is due in march and we already have a maxi cosi cabriofix with isofix base
i tried putting the three seats in the back yesterday but theres no chance of it happening and the infant seat isnt even that wide, even without the base. really dont know what to do, whether it would be safer to get a booster cushion which fits inbetween the two rearfacing seats in teh back for step daughter (she is with us on weekends only) or whether she should be in the high back booster but would have to sit in the front seat.
or ...? the longer she can stay in the back teh better and the longer in a hbb the better (although at home she is only in a booster cushion and last time i looked they werent even using that correctly. i did tell them but whether they took my advice i dont know... :(
we're a bit far from milton keynes to go trying out different seats in our car but if need be that is what we will ahve to do, just wondering if anyone here has any ideas ?
