Are there really girl and boy colors or are most unisex?

Talking about Oobr! Sorry I skipped that in the title line!

I just keep wondering why no one is buying the colorful Julius for boys? there's no pink or purple, right?

What about the Dragonfly? I was just in a store and the lady said that three people have bought them for boys and I just bought one (and I LOVE IT) in dragonfly. It's spring green - same color as his unisex stroller a couple years ago.

But I see people always going completely drab for boys and only bright colors for girls...

I also realize overpaid for it by $40 at the store, but I need it NOW as we are making weekly trips over an hour long and I cannot stand that his head is bobbing all over the place when he falls asleep in the safeguard go. I didn't like and he didn't fit well in the Radian XT and the Monterrey doesn't fit him well either (or our car).

But now I'm wondering - will everything think I have a girl seat for my kid? I like it and green should be unisex!

I showed Julius to my DH and asked if he liked it, he said "Sure, for a girl." :shrug-shoulders: I think it looks unisex.

We both think dragonfly is great for boys & girls. (Maybe even a little more boyish than girlish.)

Are you wondering about the designers only offering drab covers for boys, or buyers only buying drab covers for boys? I'm kind of confused  Oobr's one of the only seats that actually offers a remotely fun cover for boys, Skurvy, and I think the Dragonfly is totally fun for boys, too

Well both - manufacturers tend to only make drab for boys because that's what sells, but do you think Clek intended Julius to be girls and Skurvy to be boys? Or did people just 'go there' because people are color phobic for boys (I'm not).

I'm watching my 13 year old now - blue jeans, blue, black, tan shirts... color equals teasing. It's so stupid!!! (and so American).

I think if they intended Julius to be for girls they would have made it pink. (Not that boys can't like pink, but it tends not to go that way.)

I think Julius is perfectly acceptable for a boy and I want to get it for my son. He, however, has no interest in it and wants Scurvy instead. If Scurvy weren't an option maybe his feelings would be different.
