Hi, its taking awhile for my posts to go through soryr. I am about an hour or so from Detroit. I was refered to this site from a friend here in another site. My daughter is 8 years old and has not reached 40 lbs yet. I do not know her height off hand but I will find out as I will need it. After much discussion regarding the saftey of my daughter with my husband and family, I needed other opinions. As I said, my daughter is 8 and very small for her age and she is currently in a Britax Regent but, given how small she is, I am very much considering rear facing her if I could. She is all for it but my husband and family think I am crazy. I know there are a couple models that are available here in the US that just became avaialble. My friend here posted a question for me before I was able post so see if there are others with older kids rear facing. I have been sharing the pics with my daughter and husband to show him that I am not "crazy as a loon" as he puts it. So far, everyone here has been VERY friendly and I was a bit leary to ask after the bashing I got at another site. I welcome any comments positive or negative and if possible, show your older child.
