Position of Headrest

A is in a HB turbo a few times a week in my mom's car. Whenever I see him in the seat, I feel like the headrest isn't in the correct position. Please, make it clear to me where his shoulders should be in relation to the headrest on that silly thing. It also seems like the vehicle he is in makes his position in the booster fluctuate as well. Sorry, no pics, because the seat lives at my parents house (my dad can install seats...mom, not so much, but she can handle the booster).

The bottom of the red shoulder belt guide should be at or slightly above his shoulder. The shoulder belt should be centered on his collar bone, neither on his neck nor on the ball of the shoulder.

Yes, different vehicles can make the same seat fit differently.

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy. He is on the 2nd to top headrest position (with a bit of room to grow, but the next lowest is too low) in one car, and on the top position in the truck! Good thing I usually check it the first day of the week that my mom watches him.
