Frontier question

So I was looking a the naked car seat thread and saw the post about the Frontier. Is anyone else a little disappointed by the quantity... or lack there of of EPP or EPS foam? I looks as though it is only on the head wings. We love our Frontier but now I'm wishing it had some foam around DS's body.

No, not really. EPS/EPP are only for head protection. Putting it everywhere else wouldn't decrease injury risk and just makes it more expensive in the long run.

JMHO! :)

Good to know... is the reason that other seat such as the Radian have it much lower b/c the seat can be used by much smaller babies?

Yup, you got it. It needs to always be near the head, so in seats with slots instead of adjustable headrests, it needs to be lower for that. Same deal with the Marathon/RA50 having foam all the way down their backs and sides, but it's only in the Boulevard headwings.

Thanks! I learn something new everyday! I had always figured that more foam was better... just in general, despite the location
