Thinking a little ahead.... I am probably going to start booster training my DS soon. (stats below)
On Wednesdays, my DH could drop my DS off at school on his way to work. (One 15 minute ride per week.) So, I was thinking about putting the Britax SG in DH's car for that. The problem is that DH drives a 98? Honda Accord. DS would have to sit outboard with no side airbags. (Center seat is just a lap belt.) And the drive is sometimes 45+ MPH on four lane roads and a couple of merges thrown in for good measure.
DH is a much better driver than I am. But my car is safer, but, with 3 kids in my car it can get distracting.
What do you guys think?
DS will be 4 in 4 weeks. He is 54 pounds and is even with (or slightly over) the top slots of his Radian. He amazingly well behaved in the car and I'm not scared that he would try to unbuckle or get out of position.
