I'm planning to turn Sarah back to rfing behind the driver's seat in my 1995 Ford Aerostar. I have 4 kids-13, 10, 8 and 33 months old. So, the seat need to be behind driver's seat that will allow other 3 kids to get in the van easily. I just found out that RadianXT wont work. So, that's why I'm here asking you for your help in finding a carseat that will work. Sarah's 33lbs, 35in tall and 33 mos old. I'd like to have her rfing til 40lbs then turn to ff later.

Thanks..

Well, if a Radian won't work. You only other options are:

Safety 1st Complete Air
Graco MyRide 65

MyRide and Complete Air were my next choices. I'm glad to know they might work. I will go to BRU this weekend to try those seats out..

Thanks very much!

The belt stalk is the part you buckle your seat belt into.

ETA:

Here is the belt stalk in my 2000 Windstar.

Longer:

Storter. I twisted this down two full twists.

I edited my post. Just want you to keep in mind, if you can't get a tight install, twist your belt stalk down.

Dh has an Aerostar and I have a Marathon RF behind the driver's seat for DD2. The buckle stalks are not super long :) Both the MyRide and the Complete Air should work fine :)

Thanks for the tips on twist. I am trying to understand, do you mean twist the belt altogether?

An Aurora, Do you have the picture of rf MA behind driver's seat? We used to have MA in different van, it worked great. But now with this different van, I'm concerned about the leg room..

That is the only one I could find. If you want I can try other seats but all I have is a True Fit, EFTA and Marathon, no 40 lb RF seats.

Thanks for the picture! I was thinking about MyRide and Complete Air but now with MA, Sarah's 35in tall and 33lbs. Not sure which one I'd go for.. I guess I would have to try those seats in my van, Will BRU let me try those seats in the van? Not sure what efta is.

EFTA = Evenflo Triumph Advance :)

Yes, BRU should let you try them in your car. You'll need a locking clip with everything but the Britax ;)
