What happened to the Michigan Safe Kids website?

It appears to be down, and has been for a little while now (at least a few days to a week, not sure if it was earlier than that).

www.michigansafekids.org

Anyone know anything about it? Did they create a new website?? It had the listings for statewide SK events and I really want to see it.

They got foreclosed on?
:duck:

Sorry, but that was too easy.

I'd guess hosting issues. You might want to call SafeKids USA and ask them what's up. I'm sure they know.

That first link with the map that Jeanum posted doesn't work for me as well

I know theres a lack of funding for some areas. In my area the Safekids office was shut down this spring/summer and I'm pretty sure is merging with the next biggest city this fall. I know that when I needed some hands on help I had to contact one of the local CPSTs (who is wonderful!) to have a personal check because they stopped doing the event checks locally. Maybe it's funding issues as well for the website?

I fixed the link in my earlier post. Not the one that the OP is asking about, though, just the one with the map that I posted. Hmm, wait a minute, the link the OP posted is loading for me now, too. Maybe the server was down over the holiday weekend and someone fixed it today?

I just tried my original link again, and I'm still getting "Internet Explorer Can't Display The Webpage." Hm.

I did get the link to the calendar to work, thanks Jean! I was just hoping the first one I posted would work because I listed that in a neighborhood newsletter and it's on my business cards. Sounds like it might be something with my computer though, rather than the website itself.

Mine says that as well. I still can't get it to load. I know I'm using an outdated version of Explorer and Flash (too lazy to update) so maybe that is the issue?

It's loading for me in Firefox, hang on and let me try Internet Explorer...
IE loads it just fine, too. My IE is version 7.00.6001.18000, and Firefox is version 3.0.13, running in Windows Vista. Hmmm, maybe a reboot or closing and reopening your browser software and/or updating the browser software will get it to load?

All links are loading for me on AOL, which by the way doesn't load 90% of what I am searching for lately.
