Is it possible to get this seat rear facing, while leaving room for two (tall) passengers in the front seats?

Yep. I'm sure it depends on the year though. We have an 03 Sedan. The Radian is RFing on the passenger side. It leaves plenty of room for me on the passenger side (I am 5'6"). However I don't have a steering wheel in front of me. :) When it was on hubbys side who is 5'10" he had his seat about where it normally is and still drives comfortably. However the seat won't move any further back than that so if he had been any taller it may have been an issue. It fit nicely in the center though. I have never been able to get less than a 45 degree angle though which is why it takes up so much room.
