Hee, Hee My dh gets it!

Now that I'm forcing myself to love my MR , we get word of the 45 lb rfing XT coming up. So I whine to dh saying something along the line of "great, I should have waited" type of thing (dd is 28 lbs and was in a 33 lb MA, so we could have waited it out if we knew what was to come). Anyway, dh just shrugs and says, "well I guess that (XT) will be the next one then." :jaw:Hee, hee my dh basically told me I could get an XT. I will definitely wait at least a year though (get some use of the darn MR). Or, do I sell the MR on craigslist to help fund an XT when the 45 limit ones come out? Decisions, decisions...

Use the MyRide until it's outgrown. Who knows, maybe two years from now, there will be a seat with a high rear facing weight limit that DOESN'T have that ridiculous boot :D

Which reminds me, I need to contact SK today and plead my very annoyed case.

you know, if they make a smaller boot, they also need to make a bigger one so I can actually get it installed in my vehicle at a 45 degree angle:whistle:

Ooo, good point! DD is a chubby shorty pants so she'll last all the way to the 40 lbs rfing in the MR. By then, who knows what will be out there!

Yeah, I think my DH finally got it. He let me purchase the MR back about a month ago. I was really shocked when he told me I could get it.

However on the downside, he made me promise no more seats for awhile. However I am happy now! I really do LOVE my MR. I hope you learn to love it.

It is definitely growing on me. I got over my worry about the harness adjuster strap, and the cover doesn't pop off too much on mine. Right now it's the tall profile that gets me. DD won't climb in on her own, and I keep bonking her head trying to lift her up and in the car seat. Here's hoping I get my minivan after the first of the year! That would help a lot for getting her in!

Yeah, I was a bit worried, but mine is also doing okay. My covers does pop off, but only right around the sides & not the top. As for the tall profile, it is a bit tall. However luckily my DS will still climb into it. It is a PAIN to get him into a RF seat with a 2 door.

So I am glad that it is growing on you. It is a really nice seat! Plus kids LOVE those cup holders.
