Not sure what to do

Okay, dd is down to 42lbs since starting school not quite 2 weeks ago. I can easily see her losing 1-2 more lbs in the next month or so and since she just had a growth spurt I don't see her hitting 45lbs before her 5th bday. I have to buy another seat for her in October (passing the gray nauti to a cousin to use, getting E a girly seat). I'm either getting her a frontier or possibly a Radian XT to RF in. Same approx price, same approx amt of height harnessed. WWYD? I would LOVE to have her RF'ing again, but I keep second guessing myself. In October I will weigh her and if she is heavier my decision will be made, but if I am right and she is 40-41lbs what do I do?

If it's between the XT and the Frontier, I'd go w/ the Frontier - you'd get so much more out of the Frontier, imo. I see you don't have a child younger than your 4 yo to pass the XT down, so I think you'd get more for your money w/ the FR. But, if you really, really want to rf again, get the XT.

I would have a niece to pass down to (she is going to be born in January). But I thought harness wise the Radian and Frontier would last the same amt of time? Is that not so? I'm not worried about booster really. She should last harnessed to about 6-7 years old then would switch to booster at that point. I prefer dedicated boosters to harnessed when just using a seatbelt. But if it won't last as long harnessed maybe I should rethink this :(
