Question one was about the d-ring. It isn't long enough to wrap around the post (I guess it's called a post) that the front seat is bolted to the floor on. I asked if it was ok to put the clip from the tether on the seat through the loop and then attach it to the metal ring. At first he seemed ok with it, though he did say he hadn't heard of that problem before. Then he decided that he would rather send me another d-ring and have me put them together to make one long one. So, I'm going to be using 2 of them because 1 just isn't long enough. My other question was about how much it leans back after I put Kaitlin in it. I was worried that it leaned on the front seat too much. He said to install the seat as upright as I can get it then move the front seat back so that it touches but does not push the radian up. He said that if it pushed a little more on the front seat after she's in it that's ok. So I got dh to help me install it being the passengers seat, and with his help we got it upright enough to put the front seat all the way back. I couldn't get it that upright alone. So, right now I'm pretty happy with the radian, and the help from Russ.

That's good :) Sometimes another person helping can make a HUGE difference.

Do you have a previous thread to reference too? That might be helpful for those reading :)
