and I KNOW it's not practical, since I bought the turbobooster for A I can probably fit a Radian next to it RF for the baby and it will last FOREVER, and I'm totally poor and can't afford to be buying seats left and right so that would be perfect..........

BUT I WANT A COCCORO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want a blue one with a brown insert, or a brown one with a blue insert, or some sort of adorable little boy combination that I can't afford that is cute enough to equal my love for A's Annette turbobooster. I love the way it cuddles the baby and the runners to accomodate the annoying hump in my center seat, I LOVE IT and I WANT ONE!

Somebody please tell me it's okay to do the impractical thing for the cuteness factor!

The Coccoro is rarely the most practical choice.

Look at me. We had a brand-new SS1. DD could have been in that forever, then I could have gotten a Radian, True Fit, etc. to last her another forever.

But the cuteness won out. (Plus it did take up less room, which was important in one of our cars.)

If you can afford it, and if you can afford another seat when the time comes, go for it.

Last I heard, replacement covers are supposed to be out in October, and you're supposed to be able to buy the replacement pieces separately, so you could get a blue seat now, then a brown insert to go with it. Call customer service to see if that's still the case.

You know you want it...

Me too. And I had one. But I couldn't get an acceptable install in my car. :( :( I still miss it!

Here's hoping it passes the testing with the rear-facing tether. I will reorder one in a second!!

I'm planning to sell three seats to finance whatever I buy... one of A's GNs (replaced with turbobooster), M's Frontier (outgrown) and my Boulevard :)crying: we barely got to know each other... he just doesn't fit next to any other seats in my car). So doesn't that make up the cost of the coccoro and then part of whatever I have to buy after that? :p

Selling the GN+FR+BLVD should = in the neighborhood of $400 right? the cheapest price I've seen on the CCO (I want a carrot cake really bad) is $161.99 (179-10%) and the regular price for an XT (want one of these too) is what $279? If you go through bing.com you can really save on both! So even if you sell all three for $360 your two new seats are an even trade :) hth

Oh my goodness! That has to be the sweetest picture and just may have made my decision for me. I've been looking into getting a Coccoro for DD for use on a plane trip we are taking and to have for DH's truck should he need to take her anywhere (its a small truck)
I went and tried her in it at the store today and loved the fit on her too, she looks about the same size as your little guy in the picture.
At just 17lbs and 27" long she has lots of room to grow even at 16 months and we'll be able to use it when we need something lightweight.

Thanks for posting that!
