i haven't tried to install my TF yet but from the looks of it, it seems to me that it has to be used with a top tether? i don't have one in my 99 forester and would have to get retrofitted :(.
in the manual, the directions are also unclear about feeding the buckle under the lock off-it seems like it should go under and the lock off would snap on top right?
last thing-my dd(3) is super tall, 40 inches and she just turned 3...she must be long in the torso because the crotch strap is very close to her bum which kind of stinks because that's the main reason i didn't get the nautilus!!!! i don't mind digging it out so much but is it safe (and comfortable?)
TIA for the help,
amy

It's safe to have to dig out the crotch strap. Did you move it out to the further position?

Is she rear or forward facing? The top tether is only for forward facing, and it's not required. Do you have the parts number to get your car retrofitted?

The belt goes under the lockoff, then it closes on top.
