Should I buy new seats when my existing ones don't expire till next year?

I just realized that 2 of my seats will expire next year. A wizard that I'm using for DD in my DH's car and a Moo Cow Marathon that is just in the attic. I was just going to worry about it next year, but I see that BRU is having a promotion where you can turn in a car seat and get 20% off a new one. I was also thinking that Britax goes on sale in Sept doesn't it? Could be tempting....

Here's some stats because my siggy is old. DD will be 3 in November. She's the tiniest little peanut ever. She's only 23 lbs and I'm not sure how tall, but 24 month pants still are too long on her. LOL She is RF in the almost expired Wizard in DH's Saturn Aura. She's RF in a Boulevard in my Dodge Grand Caravan. So - she won't be turning FF anytime soon. Tho I don't think I need a high weight RF seat as my DS is 7 and only recently cracked 40 lbs. I'm sure I'll turn her FF before age 7 LOL Maybe around 4ish?

So - do you think I should replace the Wizard now because of the deal or just wait for a year? If I do replace the Wizard, what do you recommend? Its been a while since I've looked at car seats. I really like my Britax seats. I've gone through about 10 of them in my kids lives. The only other consideration is that DS is in Regents in both cars and it is giant, but I think there's still room to fit pretty much anything else.

I would honestly wait till they are closer to expiration to replace them. If it were me I would use them till they expired as long as I knew the full history of them! Then when it gets to be about 1-2 months till they expire start looking around for the best deal on a new seat & purchase it about a month before the old seat expires. A seat is not going to magically fail at 6 years, so I would be okay as long as it was replaced by the time it expired.

With the 20% off deal, I might upgrade if BRU had a seat in store I would want to purchase. It's hard to find that much off of a lot of seats.

Unless there was some sort of need, I would wait and continue using what you have. There are ALWAYS sales going on for seats, and I'm sure there will be sales next year, too :) .
