Here’s a scoop: in advance of the upcoming ABC Kids Show in Las Vegas, we stumbled upon an ad today in an industry magazine that had us scraping our jaws off the floor. Baby Jogger is apparently introducing a new stroller, the Baby Jogger City Select, a hybrid stroller that can accommodate one child or two in a dizzying array of configurations..

I have known about this for quite awhile now. From what I understand this is to compete with strollers such as the Graco Duoglider. This is for those parents who absolutely are against a SBS(side by side) stroller and prefer a tandem stroller. The price point is supposed to be hitting right there along the other popular tandems making this affordable for those parents of multiples or planning on having more than one.

Very exciting for BJ, and I hope they can pull this off. They have a great history with how their strollers push, fold, and how tall their seatbacks are so it shall be interesting to see in person!

I can't see anything with the link, but I am intrigued by this. Any idea when this might be out? Or at least when we might be able to see some pics of what it may look like?

Ugh. Oh well, we've used our mini for at least 18 months at this point and I don't really NEED it until no. 2 comes along (or maybe even no. 3 if no. 2 waits long enough).

I wouldn't call $499 competitive (in terms of Graco like lovin mentioned).

Sign me up! i can't wait to spend more money with out DH knowing. Whats another stroller? I already have 3, well okay 4, if you count that Jeep POS in the garage. lol

Do you think it at least come with some of the attachments? Or is it just the single stroller and you have to buy the bassinet/toddler seat/etc?
