Hazard: Children can touch the rear tires when in the stroller's add-on seat. This can pose an abrasion hazard to children...

Description: This recall involves the e3 Buggy which is a three-wheeled stroller with a black steel tubing frame. It is sold in a variety of fabric colors. An additional seat, known as a "Doubles Kit," can be added directly behind the main stroller's seat allowing a second child to ride in the stroller. This seat can either be added on top of the stroller's frame or attached on top of the rear axle in the lower position. When used in the lower position, a seated child can reach the wheels...

Thanks! I actually walked by a tv in Target this afternoon and saw something about this just before I got home and saw your post.

I emailed Regal Lager asking what I needed to do and included my address and phone number along with the month/year I bought my stroller (Aug 06). I just got a reply (less than an hour later) that that was all the info they needed and my guards would be in the mail shortly. So, pretty easy ;-)

IF I happen to need my stroller for two it doesn't really matter to me since I put my 3.5 yr old down there and she knows better than to touch the wheels, but it will be nice to have them for someday when she is heavier and has to go in the front.

I found this information out earlier this year through an Aussie parenting group I belong to, and did the same as PP - e-mailed Regal Lager (why does a company selling strollers sound like it should be selling premium beer???) and they popped a set of wheelguards in the mail free of charge. They're a bit of a pain to get "just right", but DD2 was into touching the wheels at that point, so it was worth the effort!
