I loaned my True Fit to the people I nanny for. He left it outside, a squirrel chewed the harness  . Anyone know if I can get a new one ??

I'd call First Years on Monday and ask them. If not, I'd insist on them replacing the entire seat - and I'd have a look at the LATCH belt and top tether too just in case the squirrel found that webbing and thought it would taste good too - and check the adjuster strap as well.

Lea's suggestion of a new seat period may be the best one. When you start thinking of all the webbing on the seat and the chance the squirrel may have started to chew on it in a spot that maybe is hard to see, I don't know that I'd want to be using the seat. (I'm pretty certain the crotch strap isn't replaceable, did that get chewed on too?)

The only place I could find any damage was on the one side of the harness, about three inches up from the crotch buckle. I couldn't find any other signs of fraying/damage anywhere else on the seat, I looked it over quite thoroughly. I could care less if they replace it or not, I gave it to them because I hated using it RFing and it didn't install FFing where I wanted it to . I'll call LC tomorrow!

And no, Brie, I didn't take your old job! LOL
