Northwest and carseats

Has anyone flown Northwest and used a carseat?If so what kind and were you able to preboard without a hassle? Is there anything else I should know about Northwest? I'm wondering because we're flying across country next month on this airline. Thanks

I've only flown Southwest with a car seat and they let me pre-board. Try giving Northwest a call and ask what their policies are regarding pre-boarding and if they differ by airport.

BTW, good for you for taking your car seat and using it:) !

I have flown NW multiple times with my Roundabout... At your first boarding they check to see th FAA sticker on the side of the seat, then they wrap a hot pink luggage type tag on the bottom. Every time you board after that they just look for the tag.

Thank you very much for your help.I appreciate it.Its really nice to know that the airline makes it easier by putting the tag on the carseat.Did you all have trouble installing the carseat or is there a little trick to it?Thanks again
