Three across Ford Edge?

We are considering buying the Ford Edge and am wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to put two car seats and either a third or an adult comfortably in between them. I presently have two Eddie Bauer seats, one is a 3-in-1 and the other is a 2-in-1. I'm really hoping an adult can fit because we want a roomier car without getting a van and I just love the Edge. I know I can always bring my seats to the dealer to try it out, but I was hoping to avoid that! Thanks.

I checked the second row hip room specs on the Edge, and it is listed as 56.3". That is about 7" wider than an Escape. A quick check indicated that several people have been able to do a three across in the Escape, so I would believe it would be pretty easy in the Edge. I would suggest trying your seats in it when test driving, but keep in mind, the Eddie Bauer seats you have will need to be replaced at some point. They don't get most kids to a good boostering age before the harness is outgrown, and they don't make a very good booster either. With this is mind, you could use your Eddie Bauer's until you need to change seats, and if the fit was tight before, then look for a replacement seat that is more narrow than your EB's. It would be nice to know your childrens' stats (age, weight, height, seated height) so that we can provide good suggestions for replacement seats or determine if your seats already need to be replaced.
Hope that helps!:)

I have an '08 Edge and I can fit two car seats across and one adult in the middle. We have two front facing Britaxes - one Roundabout and one Decathalon. I am 5'8" and can fit comfortably. My husband, though, who is 6'2" and 260 pounds could not.

Hope this helps!
