Though I wasn't impressed with the quality of the seat, I was impressed with the height. I made my 6 yo ds get in the seat, rear-facing. He fits with room to grow! (He had a couple inches above his head and the harness was about an inch above his shoulders in the top position.) Heightwise anyway. He's about 45 pounds now. My kids are the ones with super small torsos, but ds IS 6 yo and has a gigantic head. His torso is about 16 inches these days. Oh, and he is 47 inches tall.
