MOST special needs seats have longer life spans, but I don't know that one off-hand. I'm pretty sure the Gorilla was last manufactured in 2004.

Would you like for me to contact Snug Seat for a definite answer, and let you know? I'm pretty sure I have contact information for a rep there who I have worked with in the past.

    Mandy,

Sure, if you have the contact information handy and have the time. If not, don't worry about it. Its more of a want to know than need to know question.

    Thanks!

I have an inquiry in there with Kim Wienecke, who has been helpful in the past. I will let you know what they say!

Snug Seat confirmed that the lifespan of the Gorilla is six years. The very latest models, made in 2004, will all expire next year.
