    no.
Do you have a more specific question?
Almost all cars, regardless of hos small, can accomodate a rearfacing carseat..it just depends on which one, and how tall teh people in front are, etc.
Seats for newborns, either a "bucket" style, or a convertible, take up the most room, because they have to be installed at a 45 degree angle...but for older children (it's best to rearface as long as possible, until 35 or 40 pounds, but at least until age 2) the seat can be pretty upright, which greatly decreases the amount of room required.

Not at all. In fact, I don't think there's such a thing as a sedan that can't accomodate a rear facing seat. Some are more tricky than others, but it can still be done.

I have a 2007 Civic and have put a marathon rear facing as well as a Peg Perego SIP in there! (and praying a safeseat doesn't make the passenger eat the dash because I have one on the way LOL!)
    DS(7) 54lbs, 50" in a Parkway SG & Monterey
DS(5.5) 50lbs, 45" mainly harnessed in a Nautilus & sometimes cruising in a Parkway SG

Seeing as how the question is pretty clearly answered, I'm gonna be nitpicky and impart some trivia. BMW and Mercedes (at the least) make 2 door sedans. I couldn't get an infant seat into my old BMW, hence the new car. The 4 door fits tho.

i found the opposite to be true with my vehicle, i can fit a infant bucket seat in, but can't put a rf convertable in the back seat without the passenger or driver eating the dash. i really think it will depend on the seat you are trying to put into the car

It's all about the angles. If you can put a bucket in a car, you can put in a Marathon, installed more upright.
Anna~ RN and expired CPST (hoping to recert soon!)
