Whilst searching around online for information, I discovered this thread

For conversion to lbs, just multiply the kilo amount by 2.2
There's a lot of postings here that are troubling, but the ones that really make me sad are from the original poster (can't they contact Recaro for instructions?),
Mrs Blue Cebera (who doesn't use the cushion and even asks when it should be discontinued AFTER posting the link where the reccomendation is clear)
And finally, the rationalizations + actions of JULIAN 64 is just plain scary.
Not one car fanatic offers the idea that a child under 1 year old at the very minimum is safer facing backwards and anyone older should be at least in a 5pt harness. One gets close with the head/neck weight issue, but doesn't follow through.
With the new laws taking effect 1 Jan in the UK, I believe that children under 1 will not be allowed to face forward. That's at least a small comfort.
