    Wonderful news!

After a year of trying to get all the letters from therapists/doctors and prescriptions, then fighting with Medicaid over necessity/growth potential, we finally have the Roosevelt for my almost 11yr old nephew! Of course it came while they are on vacation so I can't put him in it yet... They should be back tonight or tomorrow--I'm so excited and relieved as he has been using the Regent over the weight limit for 7-8 months (he's about 5lbs over the limit!). I'll try to post pictures (I've never done it!) when we get it installed.

    Right here.

Congrats. It really stinks when you have to fight for something that's really needed. You all must be very relieved.

    That's excellent!

It seems like it is always such a pain to get these things covered by insurance, which it shouldn't have to be. Hopefully Medicaid has learned a thing or two from the experience so it won't be so difficult for the next family.

I hope he enjoys his new seat! Have fun installing it! (and I say that without a hint of sarcasm, because I know you will!)

Great! The Roosevelt should be a wonderful seat for him for a long time to come. Can't wait to see pictures.
