Would my 5'10 son fit the frontier in booster mode?

My son is 13 and 5'10 and has a 22.75 inch torso. Does that mean he is short torsoed? Would he fit the frontier in booster mode? just curious

I would guess that a child that is 5' 10" would pass the 5 step test and would not need a booster.

I'm 4' 10" and I pass the 5 step test in some cars, but not all.

He should fit, the Frontier booster measures 24". I am short torso'd also. 5'7" and fit in the Frontier height wise.

It's likely that he'd fit based on torso measurement, but unless there are special needs, a 5'10" 13yo does not need a HBB.

no special needs and I have no interest in using it, I was just curious because the frontier is so tall I could barely wrap my mind around him fitting in a booster seat:thumbsup:

He probably could, but I'm 5'5" and when I tried to sit in DD's Frontier, my head hit the ceiling of the car

My almost 12yo is 5 feet even, and he uses the top headrest position. I haven't measured his torso, he's maybe two inches under the belt guide (but complains the headrest lower makes the seat really uncomfortable...it's fine either way, so I let it be at the top). He typically wears XL Kids (14) shirts or medium adult shirts, for comparison's sake.

Would my 5'10 son fit the frontier in booster mode?
