potty training and car seats

hi all,

My son is potty training and now he's saying that it hurts (the crotch strap) when he is in he seat. I'm assuming it's b/c he's used to a diaper "protecting" his boy parts. Any advice?

He's in the True Fit in your siggy? Did it come with a belly pad? I don't think most True Fits did (my Misty Morning did not), but Learning Curve does have them... perhaps you could call and request one?

I did request one a few months ago and he has been using it, I think it's better than nothing at all. But he still says it "hurts":shrug-shoulders:

Hmmm... I don't know. Does your seat has 2 or 3 crotch buckle positions? If it has 3, have you moved it to the middle position, or is that too far out from his body? The outermost position is only for forward-facing use. For those with 2 positions, I'm not sure if both can be use RF or not... I think so, but I'm not 100% certain.

(Some True Fits have 2, some have 3 crotch buckle positions).
