At your tech class, did you get a copy of SafeRider News in a plastic bag? Mine had a $5 off coupon in that bag (and I think I took the class around the same time period that you did - Sept. 06) along with info on how to order.
Hope that helps!

They're working on a 2006 LATCH manual right now ~ if I were you I'd probably wait for that one ... if you can manage through the rest of us :)

1 of my instructors' employers pays for her SRN subscription & allows her to send it off to all the rest of us for free :) :)

My class was a few months before they released the '05 version so we all got the '03 version. If they '07 version is out soon enough I'll get it, otherwise I'll just order the '05 for the CEU credit.

I can get credit for buying/having one? Hmmm, I've been wanting one anyway, I might have to look into that as soon as I get some money.

Good to know about the CEU credit. I think that will convince me to wait until after I'm certified some day to buy a LATCH manual. Doesn't the new CPST curriculum also go into effect in January?

Not only did I not see one at my certification class, it was never even mentioned. I didn't know anything about it (or saferide news) until this board.

I'll definitely wait for the newer edition!

Thanks!

Yes, you buy the book and then take a short online quiz. But you have to have the most recent version for it.
