I couldn't decide which forum to post this, so please move it to a more appropriate forum if necessary. One of my girlfriends who lives close to my work picked me up today and we went out to lunch. Her DH recently bought her a 2007 Lexus LS 460 L as an early Christmas gift.
She has her DD's MA installed FF with LATCH in the rear-passenger outboard position. The two rear seats in the LS have a "recliner" function built in to them, so my friend had the footrest part out in front of the MA. I asked her what that was all about, and said she put the footrest part of the seat out so her DD has a place to rest her feet so they aren't dangling. I apologize for not doing a better job explaining the footrest, I guess it's something you just have to see in person or on the Lexus webpage! LOL
Anyway, is there anything inherently unsafe in doing this? I didn't want to say anything to her about it until I checked here first.
