Is your car easy to install seats in?

2007 Kia Sedona, Long Wheel Base.

Captains chairs in the middle are super easy for just about everything. Even the Frontier is a breeze.

The middle seat in my third row is tricky for just about every install. But the outboard seats aren't bad.

And I usually use the seatbelt. The only seat I ever use LATCH for is the BV when I have it rf.

So far what I've tried have been easy once I figured out how the seatbelts and latch work. (2007 sienna)

I've had no problems with dh's car (1994 tempo) once I became proficient with a locking clip.

I find our seats very easy to install in our vehicles:
Evenflo Generations going into a 2008 Altima and 2004 Xterra.
I also find that seat easy to install in my dad's 2006 crew cab Silverado but a pain to install in mom's 2006 Jetta.

2007 Freestar SE. The middle bench is easy to get most seats in. The Radian takes practice. LATCH is easy in that seating position. Rear bench the LATCH center seat is easy the rest are PITA. I hate putting the Regent back there. The female side is forward of the bight, the seat belts are way behind the seats and it is just difficult. Possible, but more difficult.

I have found ever install I have ever done to be easy as far as installing. However it can be a HUGE PITA to install as seat in my car b/c it is a 2 door, exspecially if the seat is RF. Otherwise not to bad. It has locking belts to. However I can NOT get a good install in the middle. I might try again now that I know more what I am doing.

My car is a 1997 2 door Subaru Impreza.

Never had a problem with installing any seats. The only problem is 3-across (you have to get creative) and the Radian likes to install very upright outboard (I know you all wish you had that problem ;)).

Yup, I have an '03 Malibu and I haven't had any problems with installing seats. It has locking latchplates which is great for rear-facing seats:) And the Radian naturally installs at around 35ish degrees when rear-facing:D

Depends on the seat and the spot. The 2nd row outboard has fixed rigid stlks forward of the bight. Installing there can be a PITA, but I've figured out a trick to get pretty much anything in there. (Put the vehicle seat all the way upright)

The rest of the spots are easy. 3IAR is no problem either, since this beast is HUGE.

2005 Corolla

Never had any problems with any seat installing. Only issues I have is booster seats in the center tend to tip over going around corners and fitting 2 boosters and a 5'7" 13yo in a row.

I have a 2007 Suzuki Forenza My outboard seats are relatively easy rf install and a breeze ff. The only ff issue I've ever had was trying to install a regent (the seat belts were too short to use lbp).

My middle seat.Well.The hump on that seat makes me wonder why there is even a seat belt there to begin with. The only seat I can get there is a Britax with the curved base.Up to this point we have tried Snugride ,Avenue, Regent,Scenera ,fpsvd, summit.Even with the fpsvd being made like a ma it just would not go. They all tilt and tip even with a locking clip the bump is just too high for a good seat install imo. If it's a flat base forget about it.

I have an 06 Mazda MPV minivan. Easy-peasy installs in it. I've got ff and rf in both 2nd row Captain's chairs with a variety of seats, no problem. Third row bench there are no lower anchors but there is a top tether (center position only) and I've done seatbelt installs there with several seats ff'ing, no problem there either.

We have a 2009 Toyota Matrix and all the seats have been pretty easy to install so far.

Britax Boulevard, really easy to install with latch on either side (FFing or RFing) and theres plenty of room RFing. I had a hard time installing it RFing in the middle (with the shoulder belt) though it might of just been me...

Britax Regent, super easy to install in any position with latch or seatbelt. Installed perfectly in the middle with seatbelt using long belt path!

Britax Chaperone, worked ok but its so big that it was nearly touching the back of the front seat even with the seat pushed all the way forward. We returned it.

1999 Oldsmobile Alero

Britax Boulevard, installed ok in the middle RFing with the lapbelt. Didn't try it anywhere else...

Britax Regent, couldn't install it anywhere! The seatbelts are too short for the long belt path apparently!

Question ~ I am desparetly needing to know if a Radian will fit RFing in the Matrix! I would really love to get two Radians and have them both RFing but I don't know if they will fit! I have searched and searched to see if they will fit but haven't found anything! I've even tried searching to see if they fit in the Vibe or the Corolla since I've heard they are all very similar but no luck! If anybody knows can you please let me know? Thank you!!! :)

Not too bad, but after having installed seats in some minivans, we REALLY want a Sienna now. Truck is easier than the sedan though, due to the shape of the seats and the larger space to work with.

I have an 05 Cheverolet Malibu Maxx. It's been easy on seats so far---except for the AOE.

Here's what I know has been in there:

Chicco KeyFit22
TurboBooster
MyRide
TFP
Marathon
SnugRide
Nautilus
EFTA
AOE---that was a PAIN to deal with .

I never heard any complaint about installing seats in my car during the CPST course. One of the instructors actually commented how it was a good car for carseats. Since it went through the course, I'm sure there were other seats that were put in it, I just don't know which ones for sure.

I love installing the seats in here! I get such a good install, Nauti and RF scenera both outboard. No Latch, have to use seatbelts but it is very easy.

2003 Malibu
Can install the Nauti really good but getting the scenera in is a pain in my butt! I can't get it tight with the latch so decided to use the seat belt. Still didn't seem tight enough and the tech I go to wasn't in. But my car is currently dead at the moment so the seats are in the truck. I'm dreading going back to my car.

My truck isn't too hard.. It's a 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic extended cab. It's pretty easy actually..

My Focus, however, was THE easiest car EVER to put seats in.. I loved that thing.. We're planning on buying another one soon.. Used, but it's fine. I love it!

I've got a 2003 Focus wagon and a 1998 Escort. Both are pretty darn easy to install seats in.

Our '05 Sienna and '08 Scion xB are pretty install friendly. So were the '03 Saturn Vue and '02 Saturn L100 that preceded the current cars, especially compared to the less than installation friendly car I owned when DD1 was born, a Saturn SC.
