Just wondering what you ladies think. I need to buy my 9 month old a big boy carseat since he is long for his age. My 2 choices are the recaro signo or the Britax Blvd. He is tall but thin. I want to keep him rear facing for as long as possible. His brother is 3.5 yrs old and in a Frontier( my explorer) and a nautilus( dh's camry)
Thanks

I would go with a Blvd before the Signo if you are keeping him RF simply for the leg room. It isn't much difference but enough. Is there any reason you have narrowed it down to the these two options? The True Fit and Radian offer more leg room. The Radian, Air Protect and My Ride 65 RF to 40# now. And there is and evenflo that RF to 35#, FF 50# and has the infinite harness adjustment.

I've had both the Signo and Blvd. and loved many things about them but I would not buy either one again. I found that the lack of leg room rf in the Signo was a problem. The Blvd.'s shell wasn't tall enough to allow my 2y/o to continue rear facing so I'm hesitant to recommend that seat also.

Interesting, as these are the two I'm looking at as well. What have you found that is high in the safety ratings with good features, that takes care of the problems you found?
